What We Do
In July and August of 2014, we did a low level mapping project in Alaska for NASA. We collected hyper-spectral, LIDAR and thermal infrared data to aid in forest inventory.
In April and May of 2013, we helped NASA map canopy density of forests in Central and Southern Mexico, including the Yucatan Peninsula.
Each winter we provide imagery to sugar beet processing companies. Infrared photography can reveal hot spots in sugar beet piles, where beets are beginning to spoil. As the temperatures in the piles go up, sugar content drops precipitously. The managers use these photos to help them process better beets with a higher sugar content.
